This past Saturday I and of course Kim went to Philadelphia to meet Leigh and Dave in Rittenhouse Square. Leigh and Dave were my first wedding booking and we’ll be photographing their wedding coming up in September. These two showed up ready for action, they were both dressed great and as soon as we started taking the first pictures I could tell they were going to have fun. They immediately began to play around and laugh, which kicks ass, as soon as I see that I get excited because I know the shoot is gonna be a good one. When a couple can laugh and play around together in front of the camera as though I’m not even there that is when I get some of the best pictures. An engagement session and a wedding day is all about the couple, not the photographer and when a couple interacts like Leigh and Dave you can tell they are in love and so into each other, it really makes the photos great. These pics have a really unique quality about them.. def. not the typical engagement pics. Maybe its the nice clothes and the setting, but it looks like they belong in a magazine. I love them, awesome job!
I really like the street scenes with the puddles. They look like shots taken from a movie setting. Great work.
