Kim and I met She-Yan and Mike around the Jefferson Campus in center city Philadelphia on an absolutely gorgeous (first day of spring) March day. They were in town to take care of some wedding planning since they live in Chicago, and we were able to meet up with them to have some fun and take some engagement pics. She-Yan and Mike were a somewhat unique couple in that we had not met them yet and actually only talked over the phone previously to book their wedding with us. We almost always meet with our couples before the engagement shoot but it was like we already had met with these two, they were super nice and got right into the flow of things. They had both gone to school here so we shot a a couple of locations they had spent many times hanging out around and then we wandered our way through the Philly streets towards Washington Square. We stopped at a few locations on the way, Philly is great for finding little spots here and there that are perfect for photography, and we wrapped up on the grass at the park. They were both a blast to work with and I know the wedding is going to be a nice, easy, fun day for all of us. Here are a few of my favorite pics from the day, hope you enjoy.
