I went to high school with Tim so it was great news when I saw his Facebook status change to “engaged” last year. Even better when I started talking to him about photographing his wedding. Devonn and Tim are going to have a wedding at The Chelsea in Atlantic City this July which I’m sure will be fantastic. They are a great couple and the location is going to be awesome.

Kim and I met them at Washington Square in Philadelphia this past Saturday. It was one of those perfect spring days, not too hot, not too cold, and the sun was shining as the trees showed shades of purple, pink and green, everything was coming back to life after a long cold winter. It was a blast hanging out with them, I’m not sure if they know it but they are both really comfortable in front of the camera and they did great just being into each other and ignoring us, which sometimes is kinda what we ask our couples to do anyway. We all spent a nice afternoon just wandering around the park and some of the streets surrounding it and had a great time. Kim and I always have fun with this job but there are days like that when it’s perfect to be outside and you have a fun couple in front of the camera that just make this job incredible.
