I recently found this hilarious video by Joseph Pelling, which is pretty much the reason Kim and I came up with this business name

My name is Ray Hennessy and I’ve been involved in photography in one form or another for over 10 years in the southern New Jersey and Philadelphia area. I started really getting into it in high school and it took off from there. I worked for a photography studio just outside Atlantic City for about 7 years and by the time I left I had learned a ton about photography and I was running their entire digital department. Then I started working for an architect photographer in Philadelphia, PA (where I currently work) doing all the retouching for his studio. During this time I also began to teach and help other photographers in the area, which I still do and you can find out more info about that at here.
After I left my first photography job, I realized that I was never out taking pictures for myself and for fun. I started setting aside time to go and photograph whatever I wanted to, which was the best thing I ever did. It completely re-energized my idea of what photography can be and should be. You can view all of my random “fun photos” on Flickr. I started having fun with it and it wasn’t just work. That is why I decided to start this business, I photographed a few friends and had an amazing time doing it, the best part was, so did they! That has become my main goal with Crushed Box Photography, to make different, creative, fun photos of people and most importantly to help YOU to have fun too. From weddings to sports to just hanging out my goal is to have fun with this whole photography thing. Thanks again for stopping by and I hope you enjoy what I do.
