The day after my sister’s wedding Kim had the idea to take them to the beach and have a little fun. Kim had brought a wedding dress with her just for the purpose, we actually stuffed this thing into a tiny ball and shoved it in the luggage, it was hilarious when we were packing and I was sitting on this ball of a dress for 10 minutes trying to make it as small as possible. Anyway, as you can see this was the end of the dress, after it was in the ocean, we had Dave pour wine (actually some sort of cran-grape juice) on the dress and then we tossed it in the trash. Here is the rest of the pictures from the abandoned warehouse trash the dress shoot. This is Amanda and as you can see, the location provided so many different options Kim and I were able to shoot completely different photos of Amanda than her sister’s pics. Thanks again to Kim for setting this shoot up and Emily and Amanda for having lots of fun with it.

Here are more images of Emily from our trash the dress session a couple of weeks ago. As I mentioned in a previous post Emily is a friend of Kim’s who she used to work with and she got her sister and came along with us to an old abandoned warehouse that I knew of from when I was in high school. This was a really cool shoot, we got to do all kinds of cool stuff and well, I’ll let the pics speak for themselves, since I’m kinda tired of typing

Trash The Dress-Abandoned Warehouse Edition

Well today kicked ass! Kim and I went to an old abandoned warehouse that we have both shot at before to photograph Kim’s friend Emily and her sister Amanda. Kim has this wedding dress she bought specifically for the purpose of doing a few Trash the Dress shoots and this is now the dress’ second showing. It’s still holding up surprisingly well for the abuse it’s already had. I do believe it’s going to be going with us next week to Florida. My sister is getting married and I’m going down along with Kim to photograph her wedding and the infamous “dress” is coming along for the ride and I think it may be it’s final resting place… we’ll see. Anyway, here is just a quick teaser of 2 shots I got today. Right off the bat these are some of my favorites and there will be a few more to come, I got a lot of great stuff today. It was awesome to have total creative freedom and such a kick ass location.
