Leigh & Dave’s Wedding at Plymouth Meeting Country Club

Leigh and Dave are back on the blog again, this time for their wedding. We had an awesome engagement shoot with them in Philly back in June and I’ve been looking forward to the wedding ever since. They certainly delivered, Leigh and Dave and their entire bridal party were such a blast. They also decided to have a first look (when Bride and Groom see each other before ceremony) which Kim and I love. I can’t begin to tell you how much easier it makes the day for photography. We usually get to take care of all the family groups and bridal party groups before the ceremony, and when planned right, this also allows us to have a lot of time photographing just the bride and groom, plus it gives them a private moment to have together when they first see each other that we can photograph as well.

Leigh was such a beautiful bride and Dave was an awesome groom and when we got the two of them together, well, you can see below, they just adore each other. I love to get fun, laughing photos, but I really love the romantic, “can’t stop touching each other” photos even more, which they performed flawlessly. From getting ready to the reception, everything was held at the gorgeous Plymouth Meeting Country Club. After portraits and the ceremony we went right into the reception which was beautiful. I was having a lot of fun playing around with the strobe light and Leigh was having fun with the microphone!

Thank you everybody who made us feel like part of the wedding and to the rocking bridal party, you guys were awesome. Thanks again Leigh and Dave for being such a great couple and having Kim and I join you on your wedding day, it was a blast. There is also something a little different at the bottom.

Angela & Mike’s Wedding at the Chalfonte in Cape May NJ

Angela & Mikes’ wedding in Cape May, NJ was incredible. We had great weather, it was a little hot but not too bad and once we got down to Cape May it was perfect out. Photography was important to Angela and Mike and they allowed us plenty of time for pictures. The beautiful flowers came from The Secret Garden Florist in Lindwood and Kim and I got some great photos of Angela getting ready. Then it was off to the beautiful ceremony at St. Bernadette’s church in Northfield, you can see some of the gorgeous stained glass window in the photo of Angela and her father walking down the isle. The bride and groom were picked up by a horse carriage from Cape May Carriage Company and were taken to the reception. Mike had some friends at a house in Cape May and we stopped there for some more amazing photos on the way to the beautiful Chalfonte were the night ended with a non-stop party. Many of the perfect details were taken care of by the fabulous wedding planner Val from Events by Val, who was great to work with and the cake was from La Patisserie Bakery
Kim and I both had an amazing time and we hope that Angela and Mike enjoy the photos as much as we do.

Heather & Jim’s Wedding

Heather & Jim’s wedding went down great. Kim and I arrived at Heather’s moms house nice and early and we got to hang out with everybody while they got ready. The whole family was great and made us feel right at home and we had a great time there, it was like we weren’t even working. Then off to the Seaview Baptist Church which has some great lighting for photographing the ceremony by the way. We took a few shots of the newly married couple right after the ceremony, then we were headed to Resorts Casino for the reception which was held in the Boogie Nights Club, which was amazing.
The lighting was so incredible in that place, as you can see below it made for some incredible photos and everybody was dancing and having a great time so it flew by. Thanks again Heather and Jim for a great day and I hope you two like your pics.

I really like the dress with the red in it, it's a nice touch.

Heather's good friend did her makeup and she did a great job, the two of them were laughing so much while they were doing this, it was great.

Thanks Heather and Jim, I don't get to photograph many receptions in places as cool as this was, we had a great time with you two.
