I’ve been working hard on some new updates to the site and catching up on my editing from a wedding last weekend. It’s surprisingly busy for this time of year and I’ll be away on a vacation to Florida to visit the family this coming week. It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything new so I wanted to give you guys something to check out before everybody forgets about me. Lately I’ve been doing a lot of nature photography as well and I’ve also been working hard getting up-and-running my nature website and helping all the photographers over there get going too. If you’ve got a minute check it out at www.naturesdomain.us – there is some great photography over there and some really pretty pictures to look at. I’ll be jamming when I get back from FL and trying to get some new images on the blog so keep an eye out.

Crushed Box Photography was also just given a “Bride’s Choice” award from Wedding Wire which apparently means I was in the top %5 over on their site. That’s really exciting and they should be promoting all the winners on their website soon. That’s pretty much it for the winter update, be back soon.

Stacey & Dave – Trash the Dress

The day after my sister’s wedding Kim had the idea to take them to the beach and have a little fun. Kim had brought a wedding dress with her just for the purpose, we actually stuffed this thing into a tiny ball and shoved it in the luggage, it was hilarious when we were packing and I was sitting on this ball of a dress for 10 minutes trying to make it as small as possible. Anyway, as you can see this was the end of the dress, after it was in the ocean, we had Dave pour wine (actually some sort of cran-grape juice) on the dress and then we tossed it in the trash. Here’s a few photos from that day and you can see some of Kim’s shots here.

Stacey & Dave’s Wedding

Finally, here is the post of my sister Stacey and her now husband Dave’s wedding. I’ve been really busy, so it took a little while, but here are just a handful of the photos from that day. You can see more images from Kim at her blog here and here. We got a ton of great stuff and also had a kick ass time with these two. It’s my sister so we got to screw around and just have fun all day, it rocked. On to the pics:

A little bit of Florida

Here is a small sampling of some of the other photographs I took while in Florida for my sisters wedding. There are so many different birds and wildlife there than I’m used to having here in south Jersey so it was really cool to be able to photograph something a little different. The wedding pics from my sister’s day should be done within the next few days so I should have a post here soon with some of that. Now on to the pics:

Florida Wind Tunnel

As I mentioned in the last post, I was going to try to post some video clips of the wind tunnel. Here is the first clip and I may have more to come, I’m not sure. I’m so busy right now with just catching up on stuff, so hopefully I’ll get some time to play with more video. I will have some photos from my sisters wedding and some more trash the dress posts coming soon.

Vacation is Over

Today is the day I have to return to New Jersey. This was a great vacation to Florida. Both Kim and I had such a great time. We got to visit my family and Kim’s family which was great and my sisters wedding turned out awesome. They set aside plenty of time for pictures and we got to do lots of photography at a botanical gardens which were gorgeous! The day after the wedding we took my sister and her husband Dave to the beach or a trash the dress shoot which was also incredible, so there will be lots and lots I pictures I come over the next couple of weeks. Kim and I also got to go fly in a wind tunnel which was so much friggin fun it can’t be described. I’ll see if I can get some of the video posted here over tell next few weeks.

Off to Florida

I’m packing up to be on my way to Florida for a little vacation time and to photograph my sisters wedding. It should be a great time and kim and I are going to have a blast I’m sure. I’ll have lots to post when I get back so check back here in a week.
