The incredibly elegant wedding was held at the beautiful Carriage House in Galloway NJ.

Kim and I got started nice and early photographing the details while everyone was getting ready in the beautiful bridal suites. The Carriage House has two beautiful rooms for the bride and groom to get ready in. The light was gorgeous that day and everybody was in a great mood even with Hurricane Earl just off the coast threatening to let loose. It simply rained a bit that day and cleared out just in time for us to take the bride and groom outside for a few last minute portraits in the fading sunlight. It was a wonderful day full of lots of emotion and plenty of goofing around. Kate & Josh are both so fun to be around they are constantly playing around with each other and every one around and always keeping a smile on everyone’s face. They are so obviously in love with each other as well and they are just a perfect fit together.

After this we started saying “throw the box”, “smash the box”, “&$!% the box”, and Kim said “crush the box”. Well, I really liked the sound of that and it morphed into Crushed Box Photography. It has no deep or hidden meaning, it pretty much came to be from my disdain of the saying “think outside the box”. I just found this video below that pretty much sums up my feelings about that saying and I thought I would share it here.
