Melissa & John Engagement at Batsto

Melissa and John have a thing for Volkswagens. They each have their own, so at their request we gladly added them into the shoot at the end of the night. We always love when a couple incorporates something personal to them, whether it’s a location, style, or in this case Volkswagens. It’s great for us since we get to work with the couple to make something personal and unique which I hope we achieved for Melissa and John. Kim and I met them at Batsto Village where we spent the evening laughing along with them. Melissa and John certainly know how to keep each other entertained which made for a great engagement shoot. Vincent, Nicholas and Liam – Fall Family Portraits

Last year Kim and I photographed Vince along with his parents Megan and Rudy at their beautiful home. This year we all met up at Megan’s parent’s house along with her brother and his family to photograph all the new additions. Vincent now has a younger brother Nicholas and a cousin Liam. We had so much fun chasing after them, well mostly Vincent, outside and a nice sunny fall evening. The youngest were nice and easy since they weren’t very mobile yet but Vincent came through too and we managed to snag some great shots that are posted below. Thanks again to the entire family for having us out and inviting us into your home to hang out for an evening and photograph what happened. We are looking forward to the next visit!

Cherie & Karl’s Wedding at Washington Crossing Inn

When I first met Cherie she was concerned that having her wedding in November and an outdoor ceremony may be the ingredients for a few frozen guests. On the wedding day of Cherie & Karl the weather could not have been more perfect, the sun was shining and the temperature was cool but not cold, it was a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Washington Crossing Inn. After the ceremony Kim and I had a chance to take some of the portraits of the bride and groom in gorgeous sunlight right before sunset, then we all headed inside for the reception which was also held at the Inn. We had just as much fun at the wedding as we did at the engagement shoot with these two. Cherie & Karl are nonstop entertainment, they are always having fun and keep themselves and everyone around them laughing which is one thing I always love about a couple. Erin & Mike – Batsto Village Engagement

Mike is a good friend from high school and when I heard he was going to marry Erin I was hoping I’d get to photograph their wedding. Well, I was lucky enough to have them choose Kim and I to be their photographers on the wedding day and on an unusually warm and perfectly sunny day this past October we all went to Batsto Village to have some fun and take some engagement pictures. They are a great couple and you can see how much fun they have together, it’s always good to see a friend happy. I’m really looking forward to the wedding coming up this January, I know it’s going to be a blast. Now onto a few of my favorite shots from the day.
