I’ve been working hard on some new updates to the site and catching up on my editing from a wedding last weekend. It’s surprisingly busy for this time of year and I’ll be away on a vacation to Florida to visit the family this coming week. It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything new so I wanted to give you guys something to check out before everybody forgets about me. Lately I’ve been doing a lot of nature photography as well and I’ve also been working hard getting up-and-running my nature website and helping all the photographers over there get going too. If you’ve got a minute check it out at www.naturesdomain.us – there is some great photography over there and some really pretty pictures to look at. I’ll be jamming when I get back from FL and trying to get some new images on the blog so keep an eye out.

Crushed Box Photography was also just given a “Bride’s Choice” award from Wedding Wire which apparently means I was in the top %5 over on their site. That’s really exciting and they should be promoting all the winners on their website soon. That’s pretty much it for the winter update, be back soon.

Let’s Turn the Camera Around.

I’m always featuring jobs that I’ve photographed on the blog here so I figured it was about time that I posted some pictures of me working. All these photos are courtesy of Kim and it’s just a small sampling of me working on some different jobs here and there. Hope you enjoy.

Updated Website Portfolio

I just updated the Wedding and Portrait galleries of my portfolio page. If you follow my blog often you will probably have seen most of the images as they’ve been posted throughout the blog over the past few months. Now I’ve finally had a chance to go through a pick out some of my absolute favorites to put in the galleries.

It’s been really amazing how fast this photography thing has taken off. I really didn’t expect to be shooting so much so soon, and with such cool clients. Everybody has been great and I can’t wait to keep meeting new great clients and hopefully photographing existing clients again. Thanks to everybody who I’ve been lucky enough to work with so far and I look forward to meeting those of you I haven’t worked with yet. As I have written directly on the home page “Crushed Box Photography is about you and I having fun creating great pictures.” and that’s been exactly my experience so far. I’ve been having a blast and I only hope it grows from here.

Totally New Crushed Box Photo Website

As I’m sure you can see now, I have a entirely new website design. The blog and website have become basically one, they are very integrated and work together now. When you visit the home page of Crushed Box Photography you now see some of the most current and popular post from the blog and you can access all of the same information as before. I have been looking for a way to make my website a little more interactive and engaging and I’m hoping this is it. If you have any feedback, I’m all ears and you can always catch me at ray@crushedbox.com.

It’s also taking me quite some time to migrate all my old blog posts into the new system, it’s such a big change, that I’m basically re-posting everything again, so for anybody that is subscribed to the RSS feed, I apologize for the re-posting of everything, but that should end shortly, and if your not subscribed, you may want to give it a shot, I suggest starting out with google reader and you can subscribe to my feed of blog posts by clicking the following
